Your studies with me will be as complete as I possibly can give you. There is a foundation from which I start. If a student has some ability but lacks the elements of a good foundation I will ensure that this foundation is built. If a student comes to me blank with no ability, I will develop his or her skills in the same way, from the foundation up.

I am not going to teach you how to be a rock drummer or a jazz drummer or any other type of single-minded drummer.
I will, though, give you the skills to be the best drummer you can be. You will have a multitude of musical choices, not just one or two.

Your studies will include techniques such as "Rudimental Control" for the hands and feet. All the while, you will gain a musical concept of how drums are presented and how we as drummers support and compliment the other musicians in a band situation.

Your drum set studies will be complete. First and foremost they will be musical. Your studies will include all styles of playing, from rock to jazz to Latin to world music and more.

You will gain complete control over the drum set by learning to control your limbs independently.

My goal is to allow you to grow into the drummer you want to be. I will give you my best, and take you as far as you want to go. Give your best to me and we will have lots of fun building our goals and dreams, “one lesson at a time.”
